Lunch @The25Mile

P291

The other day whist in Cardigan, Wales I stopped at 'The 25 Mile' for lunch. Usually, writing about my lunch comes pretty near bottom of my 'to do' but this was the exception. A class example of what a combination of brilliant philosophy, a great set of principles, awesome food and a superb, well thought out brand can achieve. A true local eating house. 7 days and a silver bullet

(download)

I'm writing this whilst sat at one end of Airstream 2017 in Llandeilo, Wales. I've seen these in movies and dying in junkyards whilst driving through the Nevada desert, but for the next 7 days I get to call this one home. Here're a few quick snaps. If anyone fancies a stay (and I would highly recommend) you can find it on the Canopy and Stars website at: http://www.canopyandstars.co.uk/britain/wales/carmarthenshire/ty-cefn-tregib/...

Beer Mats

A collection of 84 beer mats from the 50's 60's and 70's I stumbled upon whist rummaging through some Welsh antique stores. These are just a few favourites, I'll hopefully be setting up a Flickr resource soon with the full collection.

The Creative Zodiac

This week saw the launch of SOYUa new brand that aims to bring together eastern and western culture through art and fashion (with the force of a Bruce Lee kick to your face). Its first project took the 12 animals from the Chinese Zodiac and 12 artists from around the world who produced prints inspired by their animal. I've posted some of the prints here, but to feel the full force of Mr Lee's foot check out www.soyu.co.uk

A huge personal thanks to the amazing Mike Ng for askiing me to contribute (you can find my contribution here.) and who's done an amazing job with bringiing SOYU to life.
